Maureen Wauters has been a dedicated member of the We Care family for more than 12 years and has proudly served on the Board of Directors for the past five years. Her passion for the organization’s mission and commitment to helping neighbors in need reflect her deep roots in community service.

A longtime Rossmoor resident of 29 years, Maureen grew up in Costa Mesa and is married to her husband, Mike. Together they have raised two sons while actively supporting local schools and organizations. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from the University of Southern California.

Over the years, Maureen has been actively involved with PTAs, Friends of Hopkinson, and booster clubs at Los Alamitos High School. She is also a member of St. Hedwig Catholic Church where she has volunteered with Bible Camp, Sunday School, Autumnfest, and St. Hedwig Pony Baseball.

Maureen values the opportunity to give back and is inspired by We Care’s mission to support individuals and families throughout the local community.
